Famous for their Yam Rice and Mixed Pork Soup. They have been serving the same dish for nearly 40 years. Famous food spots for locals.

The original stall of Teochew Chendul. A must visit spot in Penang. Famous for its Teochew Chendul.

One of the hot spot to visit while travelling to Penang. Recently visited by various influencers and TV shows from HongKong and Taiwan makes it become famous recently.

One of most famous spot for Penang Char Kuey Teow in Penang. Although, the owner are not very friendly during peak hours, bbut their Char Kuey Teow are one of the best we have ever tasted.

Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay & Canteen

“Michelin Bib-Gourmand 2023” Award holder.

Founded in 1933, they specialize in serving and making Nyonya Kuih. Currently they also serve other Nyonya dishes.

13. 暹罗路火炭炒粿条
Siam Road Charcoal Char Kuey Teow

The OG of Famous Penang Street Food in George Town. It had been widely recommended by various international press such as BBC and CNN. It also had been listed on Michelin Guide. 

You will have to wait for a minimum 1-2 hours for its Char Kuey Teow.

Have 30+ years of history in serving both Hokkien Prawn mee and Loh Mee. You can also add extra crispy pork or other side dishes in your prawn mee.

Classic Penang Curry Mee spots. You can add seafood and crispy pork in your Curry mee too. Other than Curry mee, they also serve mixed pork porridge.
